RISE Academy Website Rebuild
I had the exciting opportunity to work with RISE Academy, a cutting-edge DJ, performing arts and entrepreneurial school, to redesign and launch their website. With a sleek and modern look, the website now showcases the school’s dynamic and innovative approach to music education. We incorporated bold colours and dynamic graphics to capture the energy and creativity of the academy, while ensuring a user-friendly experience for students. The revamped website reflects RISE Academy’s commitment to pushing boundaries and empowering the next generation of music industry professionals.
Insight Construction Rebrand
In late 2022, Insight Construction sought me out to completely revamp their business image, dissatisfied with their previous identity. After presenting my innovative concept, they quickly secured my services, entrusting me to provide them with a cutting-edge logo, comprehensive brand guidelines, captivating business cards, impactful social media assets, a captivating portfolio cover, and a forward-thinking content plan that will guide them through all of 2023.
Envisiotec's Website Rebuild
Envisiotec’s director discovered their previous website was nonfunctional and desperately outdated. Impressed by my swift and imaginative solutions during our initial meeting, he wasted no time in hiring me on the spot to completely rebuild and resolve its numerous issues. Merely a week later, an entirely revitalised and fully functional website was launched, ready to captivate and engage its audience.
ProApp HR Solutions Logo Redesign & Website Rebuild
ProApp HR Solutions is a privately-owned small enterprise operated by a sole proprietor. Despite the owner’s expertise and skills in rebranding and website development, time constraints hindered her progress. Recognising the need to step in and put her worries at ease, I undertook the responsibility. In just two weeks, we unveiled a stunning and refined website that perfectly aligned with the business’s goals. Additionally, we crafted a modern and industry-relevant logo, enhancing their brand image.
Shure's Comic Con Partnership
Shure provided sponsorship for one of South Africa’s largest gaming and conventions, Comic Con. Our collaboration with Comic Con included organizing two social media competitions leading up to and during the convention. Participants were encouraged to create a customised design for a Shure podcast microphone specifically used for gaming. This campaign garnered significant attention and received a high volume of entries. A winner was selected through a lucky draw, establishing Shure as the preferred gaming microphone within the gaming community.
Shure's Takealot Takeover
As part of the strategic initiative to enhance brand recognition and stimulate sales for Shure’s products in South Africa, the company sought opportunities to position itself prominently among industry buyers. Recognising the potential, Takealot was identified as an ideal platform to achieve this objective. A targeted banner ad campaign was executed during the period when Shure products were being incorporated into the platform’s online shopping inventory. Consequently, there was a substantial surge in both consumer awareness and sales figures for Shure’s product range in the local market.
Tech Women Talks Logo Design
Wild & Marr was preparing to broadcast a podcast featuring a female AV specialist as the host, engaging in conversations with women who are actively contributing to the advancement of technology. The podcast sought to strike a balance between asserting a strong presence in an industry primarily dominated by males, while also appealing to a female audience. Consequently, I developed a logo in the form of a neon sign, intended to be prominently displayed above the podcasters during their show. The inclusion of a touch of red within the logo aimed to embody the charismatic and spirited nature of the host.
JBL's Specials & Adverts
A collection of pricing advertisements and specials I have created for JBL professional between 2016 and 2022. These promotional materials significantly contributed to the successful distribution of JBL gear to various large-scale concerts, prestigious hotels, and places of worship throughout South Africa.
Shure's SM58 Day Campaign
Shure annually celebrated SM58 Day, which took place on the 5th of August (5|8). In 2022, we took the opportunity to further engage our audience by organizing the ‘Customize Your Own Sound’ competition, encouraging others to join us in celebrating. This campaign was primarily promoted on social media platforms, where participants were invited to submit their creative designs for a personalized SM58 microphone. Winners were awarded with their custom-made microphone, chosen based on merit.
Over the course of one month, we were delighted to witness exceptional participation, with nearly 100 individuals entering the competition. Additionally, our brand experienced an impressive level of engagement, as more than 12,000 people shared and interacted with Shure on Instagram.
Shure For You Brand Relaunch Campaign
Shure microphones experienced significant success in South Africa during the 2000s with the rise of televised talent shows. This positioned Shure as the leading brand for achieving excellent sound quality in any situation. As demand evolved, various content creators began to require top-notch audio for videos, radio broadcasts, and virtual meetings, creating new opportunities for Shure to expand its reach.
In 2022, Shure embarked on a nationwide relaunch, targeting industries such as podcasting, gaming, home studios, live music, and houses of worship. The “Shure For You” campaign featured a comprehensive strategy encompassing social media content plans, competitions, in-store activations, refreshed branding, dedicated gaming spaces, and influencer collaborations.
The campaign generated immense enthusiasm within the targeted industries, resulting in a surge in Shure microphone sales as the product became highly coveted by professionals and enthusiasts alike.
